Welcome

In graduate school, you were probably used to studying the material, memorizing what you needed to know, and passing your exams. I was too.

This exam is different.

It is less about how much you can memorize and more about whether you can take what you know and APPLY it. You have to recognize patterns, identify what matters in the question, eliminate what does not, and determine the BEST response when more than one answer sounds right.

And yes, we want you to pass. Maybe you do not care what the exam is designed to measure. You just want those letters after your name. I get it.

But cramming more information into your head over a weekend is not how I teach. Study Buddy is built around layered learning. We slow it down, take the material apart, and build one concept on the next. I teach you how to utilize what you already know and apply it to the way the exam actually tests you.

I tell my groups all the time: set yourself up for success. The more work you do before you sit for this exam, the more prepared you will be on exam day. Give yourself time to learn, practice, make mistakes, understand WHY you missed something, and try it again.

And do not let a practice exam score define your readiness. A score tells you how you performed on that exam. I want you to understand WHY you are missing questions, recognize what is tripping you up, and know what to do differently the next time.

Study Buddy adds another layer to what you already know, helping you turn knowledge into a strategy you can actually use on exam day.

Of course I want you to pass. But I also want you to walk away understanding the material better, knowing how to apply it, and realizing that this beast of an exam can actually make you a stronger clinician.
